Safety Lighting for Forklifts and Machinery

Forklift operation creates a unique set of hazards and dangers to workers and pedestrians. Not only is there danger of the lift running into someone, the overhead material handling can create risks far beyond the lift itself as loads may shift or fall.

To prevent injuries, pedestrians and workers need to be kept at a safe distance from an operating forklift. To do this, equip the forklift with a safety strobe light so pedestrians can see it coming. For additional safety include an audible alarm to alert others beyond the sight and operating influence of the equipment. Some lights can double as spot lighting so the operator can better see the work area which is useful for warehouses where tall shelving can block overhead lighting.
